My Mindset
Changing your mindset
In order to change your fitness, it’s important to approach it in a way that makes you happy. Your mindset is the starting point to making a long-lasting difference to your life.
I believe in a holistic approach to health - connecting your mind and body through the pursuit of meaningful goals. I want to find a way of making fitness something you actually enjoy. Exercise is not a stick to beat yourself with, it’s a practice to grow from.
Building yourself
When you train with me, we will establish your fitness goals together. I use a range of equipment and techniques, to keep training exciting, varied and fun.
I mix styles such as Pilates, strength-training and Yoga techniques to increase flexibility while also creating stronger muscles over time.
We will discuss the benefits of gradual changes you can fit into your busy lifestyle so that you won’t even notice them. Then, before you know it, you’ll be beating your personal best and feeling stronger than you ever have before.
Feeling better
A lot of my clients started out with me due to an injury or underlying health problem. I am passionate about injury rehabilitation and have a strong interest in bio-mechanics. Perhaps you have had a recent surgery and want to regain lost strength or fitness, or want to use exercise as a preventative measure.
I often work alongside client’s physiotherapist, chiropractor or osteopath to create a programme that is individualised, beneficial and safe.
A specific area of interest for me is lower back pain, for which I hold a specialist qualification, and have helped a variety of clients alleviate this issue.
Having fun
If training feels like a chore, it is simply not sustainable. I understand all too well the demands of London life, and I aim to create an enjoyable space where you can focus on yourself and reclaim some balance.
The benefits of this are evident, and one of the best parts of my job is seeing the difference not just in my client’s bodies, but in their approach to fitness too.
There are also ample opportunities to make friends along the way with other trainees through group training and bootcamps, so that you can meet like-minded individuals and become a part of my extensive fitness family.
